USE
The series of products for the repairs and reconstructions of balconies are used for revitalized panel houses and family houses. The self-contained system contains maintenance  and  waterproof  substances  and  also a special additional assortment, such as construction surface slope board S-board Terrace, balcony profi les or bonding and sealing stripes.
The  maintenance  of  balcony  constructions  is  one  of the basic parts of the panel houses revitalization. Repairs are often necessary for family houses and other structures. The scope of damage is particularly great in the case of older buildings and can have a negative infl uence  on  the  static  characteristics  and  the  functionality of the object. The main reason of problems is water penetrating into the construction of the balcony which  causes  the  corrosion  of  insuffi ciently  covered ferroconcrete elements. A signifi cant infl uence is also frost and mechanical damage. Defects are refl ected by the open, in the surface corrosive reinforcement and wide  zones  of  damaged  or  missing  concrete  in  the depth of several tens of millimetres. After the repair and  completion  of  damaged  or  missing  parts  of  the concrete, the weathering, water-proofi ng, lay of new pavement and repair of handrailing is done. STOMIX offers  a  comprehensive  system  of  products  enabling to perform all necessary repairs and to reconstruct the balcony into the required appearance.

RECOMMENDED PROCEDURE
Before the actual remediation of balconies and loggias is needed to assess the existing structure and prepare a suitable surface (consistency, fl atness and treatment related  structures).  Thus  prepared  surface  shall  be prime  with  penetrating  varnish.  (penetrating  varnish EH or base paint HC-4). Followed by bonding surface slope wedge S-board Terrace using adhesive materials BetaFIX ®  SF. All balcony boards joints and subsequent plating  is  carried  using  Butyl  tape.  Drainage  layer  is bonded with adhesive material BetaFIX ®  SF. Tiles are laid  with  BetaFIX ®  SF.  The  fi nal  surface  treatment  is recommended to use a corner and fi nishing lath. The fi nal grouting is performed two days after installation.

Surface slope wedge S-board Terrace
S-boards Terrace are composed from high quality extruded polystyrene, both side surface treated by polymerconcrete spattle substance reinforced by mesh made of glass fibre. These boards are wedge shaped, which makes possible to create surface slope (2 %).
