Establishment and Development of the Company

The  STOMIX  company  was  established  in  1993  in  Zulová  in  the  area  of  Jesenicko as a Czech private company. With increase of production volume the production facilities expanded and were relocated to reconstructed space of nearby Skorosice production plant where the technology for production of dry and wet mixtures were implemented.
In 1998 the owners of the company decided to create their own business service network  that  gave  birth  to  another  ten  commercial  companies  in  key  regions  of  the  Czech Republic. The construction of production plant in Russian town Orel nearby Moscow started in 2000 and this event foreshadowed the company’s expansion abroad.
Its Foreign Trade Department was established in 2005 and it focused on countries in which the STOMIX Group had no representation at that time. Its products found their way to business partners in Western Europe, Asia, Scandinavia and the Balkans. The aim was to meet all requirements of clients not only with respect to diff erent construction legislation but also with consideration of diff erent climatic conditions.
Thanks to permanent commercial and marketing activities and investments in technological and production development the STOMIX companies nowadays operate in 10 countries. Shortly after the establishment of two commercial STOMIX companies in Hungary and Romania in 2008 also a new production plant was opened in Kiev, Ukraine.
The New Research and Development Centre came into operation in 2009, representing the investment of 45 million CZK. It has been designed to contribute to the gradual increase in quality and standard of the company’s products; its premises also enlarge the necessary production capacities and provide space for product testing.
In January 2010 have been merged czech trading branches into the company STOMIX CZ s.r.o., which provides distribution and sell of STOMIX products on the territory of Czech Republic.
